Posture:
Some models have a real problem with posture. The ability to sit up straight and not slump your shoulders is paramount for a fashion model. Models that slump more than a few times during the course of a photo shoot will not be called back. There are enough things to concentrate on during the photo shoot without dealing with a habitually slump-shouldered model. For runway models, you must have great posture or you won't even get past the interview stage. Typically fashion models who slump are models with a lack of self-confidence and that needs to be addressed before the posture can really be corrected. Activities which promote good posture are ice skating, ballet, horseback riding and roller-balding.

There's really nothing worse than to have a model show up at a photo shoot and then have to go through a complete make-over. That's not what they are there for.
